Art Market Productions (AMP) hosts the 12th edition of Art Market Hamptons—the longest running art fair on Long Island, New York's East End. They continue to delight the masses with this popular, strongly attended fair, with this year seeing 90 top galleries, featuring the best in modern and contemporary art and design.

“This year’s event will feature a strong list of local stalwart galleries that have defined the region for the last few decades,” notes the AMP press release. “Alongside the local exhibitions, the event will feature modern and contemporary dealers from around the country that will introduce this super-engaged audience to new galleries and new artists.”

Showcased in an expanded, museum-quality pavilion, these prominent galleries will display exquisite examples of modern and contemporary artworks in a variety of mediums, styles and subject matter, with some pieces spotlighting Northeastern coastal beauty. M Fine Arts Galerie of Boston and Palm Beach, for example, plans to present impressive works by four of their artists: Anne Leone, Stéphane Joannes, Mark Knoezer and Philippe Charles Jacquet. “Their work really celebrates the coastal summer spirit of the Hamptons with their playful marine themes and nautical motifs,” says Mitch Plotkin, gallery owner.
Art Market Hamptons will kick off on Thursday, August 11, with an opening preview from 6 to 9 p.m. The fair will open to the public Friday, August 12 and run through Sunday, August 14. Ticket prices, hours and a full exhibitor list can be found at www.artmarkethamptons.com.
